Just 3 basic lessons in and I was improvising my own sentences in Chinese. My Chinese friends are impressed with how much I know. I wish there was a Japanese version. I also wish there was an EnglishSkill version for my Chinese friends. Great app! Best Chinese learning app! Keep up the good work with more conversational Chinese!

I love that they teach you to hear, spell, and read everything as you learn. I also like the percentage at the end to incentivize me to do better or to redo a lesson to up my score.

Like Duolingo, but for learning Chinese. Recommend.

This is the best! Gives you the characters, pinyin, and shows you how to write the hanzi in stroke order. Also, Great audio (normal speed and snail pace).....thank you so much for this!!

Its simple and with diligence, rewarding.

Fun and intuitive! Love how it shows speaking, writing, and reading all in one. Only been using a few days and feel like Ive learned a lot and actually retaining it!

I LOVED this app! I played with my best friends! But theres one thing I didnt understand, so Im taking away at LEAST a star. Why the heck were there so many foreign words in Spanish or some other text form???

Downloaded this about a month ago, and have been using it to learn how to speak, read, and write in Mandarin. The exercises are similar in presentation to Duo Lingo, but also cover how to write Pinyin characters. This is a nice touch. As you can imagine, thats an important feature to have, as Asian character markings are structured differently from Anglo-like ones. A must have if youre looking for a free companion to begin your language-learning journey.

This app is really useful! I always regretted not taking Chinese in my freshman year, so this app really helps me soothe that regret haha 10/10 - good graphics and useful content, and it even teaches you the stroke order! :)

Have only done first couple lessons but I like it so far. Very similar to Duolingo but for Chinese. Clear verbal cues, has some writing, picture association. Its really worth getting and using.

I love this app. It really breaks down Mandarin so its easy to learn and review. Totally recommend for those who are learning or curious about learning.

I renewed my subscriptions to two other Chinese language learning apps just before discovering this one in "related apps". Good thing for those competitors, or I would have probably cancelled both subscriptions until I finish this course. Good pacing, and covers reading, listening, and character formation both in terms of drawing strokes and combining radicals. And free! My only wish is that it would sync across devices. It is fantastic that I can download all content for offline use, but if my progress between iPad and iPhone were synced, this would be six stars out of five!
